My fitbit is here! My fitbit is here! LOL I'm pumped that it came so soon (although it came COD the b..... b......buggers!) I wish it had been here the other day though, cause i took one killer of a walk and would love to know how many calories I burned. But... I guess I'll just have to trek it again to see! LOL I even have the next 2 days off to really "break it in" (not literally "break" LOL) I'm psyched. I have to admit I haven't been doing so well for the last couple of days (Not a good start! :[ ) but with this little bugger on my bra or hip reminding me to move around more, I hope I'll do better! SO! For tomorrow : lots of walking, lots of water, lots of exercise! :) Gotta keep the fitbit numbers high, and the scale numbers low! :D

Starting off Well!
Hello!
I did well today in my eating and exercising! And I must say, I am mighty proud of myself LOL

I drank lots of milk and water today! :) No Pepsi! Not even a craving for it! :D For lunch I ate a weight watchers meal (really could have ate more there...) and for supper I had a home grown chicken (leg) a new potato **(yumm!) stuffing (not *the* healthiest thing on my plate..) from-our-garden carrots and beans! :D And more water! I did allow myself a piece of sugar free apple pie for dessert (mainly because it was already cut and slapped on my plate before I realized what was going on LOL) but I gotta wean myself off unhealthy eating one thing at a time, right? :P
Tomorrow I will cheat a bit on breakfast as we are going out with my Auntie and her boyfriend, but I'll drink an extra glass or two of water to make up for it LOL
Went for a short walk tonight, then came home and went for a drive, and another short-ish walk across the covered bridge (1282 feet!) :) Can't wait for my fitbit to arrive so I can see how much I really walk in the run of a day :)

Fitbit!
Woooo! I just ordered my very own fitbit! I've heard amazing things about this little machine and I'm pretty stoked. It tracks all about you 24/7! How many calories you burn, how many steps you take, the intensity of your workout, how many floors you climb! And even how long/well you sleep. Because a good night's sleep is the key to everything.

When you sign up for fitbit (it's free!... minus the fitbit itself.. LOL) You get an online dashboard where you can track your meals, activity and weight. The fitbit will automatically update when it comes within 15 feet of the docking station if it is plugged into your computer. This is more to keep me active than to lose weight, but I guess it kind of goes hand in hand...the more active I am, the more I shed off my belly! :P
It's easy, it's convenient, it's a little bit expensive (99.95 - yech!) but if it works, it is SO worth it!

Starting Out
Hello! I am Lisa :) Shortie and Cutie... but unfortunately, a little on the tubby side too. BUT! I am out to change that! Over the course of this blog I am going to (Attempt!) to document eeeeeverything! In my weight loss journey. I know zilch about shedding pounds, but I have some ideas and I'm going to give them a try. You will be able to see and read how well my ideas work, or don't work. LOL
My starting weight is 147.8 lbs. Not huge really, but on my tiny five-foot-nothing frame, its pretty huge. And I'm not a fan.
Sorry for the bathroom picture, it's the only mirror that I can see 90% of my body in for the picture LOL!
My goal is to remove that not so lovely little muffin top floppin down over my jeans, and shed the double chin! I only need one ;)
This really isn't going to be a "Diet" persay, just more of a "These things are making me fat so I'm ditching them" type of deal :)
So here is my list of what I am cutting out:
Chips! - a silly habit I have gotten back into lately.
Chocolate - I can do this! My chocolate cravings have gone down recently!
Pepsi - oh dear, here is the killer. I live for Pepsi (and I'm not talking about the fuzzy one for those of you out there who know me) I neeeeeed pepsi. BUT! I am tuff, I can do this...I hope
McDonalds - oh boy. another killer, working beside McDonalds all day everyday... it aint so easy to avoid.
Snacking! - well, unhealthy snacking at the very least. I am ditching my bag of snacks today!
sitting on my butt all day - that's not gonna make me lose weight!
These are the things I am adding to my daily life!
Walks - Going for many more, longer walks. Gotta build up those muscles! heehee
More water - can't go wrong with water!
